Elle et Lui translates to "She & Him". It is the monthly update I have been e-mailing to our close family every month to let everyone know what we were up to in the past month. It's nice because not all our family are big facebookers nor do we post much on facebook so it's a little more personalized.
I have decided that I will post it here too, it may variate a bit from what I send the family because some things the family doesn't know, you may already know since I post here much more than I e-mail our fam.
Without further ado...Elle et Lui for May:
Jen started tutoring a student in Spanish on the side.
Teaching is fun, especially when it's one-on-one.
Alexis experimented with making some blueberry jam.
It didn't turn out so well.
They started the month out with a yard sale to try to get rid of excess junk.
Neighbor kitty Lilly-Bell was a big help.
They went up to a small Sonoma town called Glen Ellen on Mother's Day to visit beautiful Jack London Historic Park.
They also enjoyed some yummy oysters and martinis.
Jen started making a bunch of homemade household products such as hand soap and body soap for the shower in attempts to be greener and healthier.
More to come on
this later.
Alexis went windsurfing almost every weekend that we stayed in the Bay Area.
So athletic!
They both enjoyed a busy but fun weekend in SLO for Memorial Day.
Brunch at the Cliff's was one of the highlights.
Jen had a Bloody Mary and salad.
Alexis had a coffee and clam chowder.
They are both looking forward to heading to Live Oak Music Festival in June and to spend some time back at their wedding venue with sun, fun, friends, and music.
It's the official start to summer.
